MEAD BARN COTTAGES, Welcombe are down a typical high banked Devon lane, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in a hamlet set in tranquil countryside. We are close to the sea, on the dramatic Atlantic coast. Nearby are cliffs, caves and secret coves and within easy reach are large sandy beaches. There are wonderful coastal and country walks on our doorstep. The wild flowers and birds of prey have to be seen to be believed. We are on the border between Devon and Cornwall and the A39 offers easy access, for touring Devon and Cornwall by car. A wide variety of attractions for both adults and children are close at hand.

Our traditional stone built barns have been converted to retain their character and offer individual, self-catering accommodation with up to date comfort and amenities. They are graded as three  star by the English Tourism Council and are complemented by our gardens with tennis court, play area with swings and Trampoline, pergola where you are invited to enjoy a barbecue and games room with table tennis and pool table. We have a large private car park at the back of the site where you can leave your car well away from the road.
